Sher, founder and HCCLIC (head crazy cat lady in charge) kindly sent me a variety of skin treats to try, so imma break ’em on down.
Menopaws Mist, $24 – Granted I’m not of menopausal age (yet), I do suffer from PMS and typical lady hormonal imbalances. This stuff is designed to quell all the symptoms related to lady stuffs, uplift your mood, hydrate skin, and fight wrinkles. It’s also light, refreshing, and beautiful smelling.
It contains a blend of floral water and 100% pure therapeutic grade ylang ylang essential oil, which can reduce occasional irritability and anxiety). I’ve been using this as a toner day and night, and it really does help calm mah nerves.
Furever Young Age Defense Serum, $36 – This heavenly anti-aging blend of rose geranium, lavender, and clary sage in antioxidant-rich carrier oils helps improve skin tone and alleviate stress. This serum absorbs quickly without leaving any oily residue, and it feels amazing on the skin.
Eye of the Tiger Feliner, $18 – Y’all organic, vegan, gluten-free, and non-noxic gel eyeliner
is super hard to come by… and finding one that works really well with mega staying power is well, kind of impossible. This stuff is hella bomb. The formula is comparable to brands you’d find at Sephora, and it works well for creating a simple classic line, smudgies, smokey eye, or of course, cat eye. Btw, so much of the magic from eye makeup is based on the type and quality of makeup brushes you use, so make sure you’re using top notch, precise vegan & cruelty-free makeup brushes that kick ass.
Cougar Cream Chamomeow, $38 – Y’all know how anti-aging anything has me like 🙂 🙂 🙂 … this cream has a thin consistency but boy does it pack a punch. It’s loaded with antioxidants and organic botanicals to help nourish skin and prevent advanced aging. Rockstar ingredients include: MSM (nature’s building block for collagen renewal); green tea (high-powered antioxidant); willowbark (natural salicylic acid that promotes smooth texture); chamomile (anti-inflammatory skin soother), and lavender (soothes and nourishes skin). A little bit of this stuff goes a long way, btw. I’ve been using in conjunction with the serum before bed, and when I wake up, my skin is silky soft and supple. I’m hoping all the serums, creams and beauty oils I use nightly before bed are gonna pay off when I’m 106 years old. 😉
Lavenpurr Organic Hand & Cuticle Cream, $16 – This salve is a lavender lover’s dream! Even though it’s intended for hands and cuticles, I’ve been using this all over my body, even my lips. The ingredients are so simple and pure: organic virgin coconut oil, organic sunflower seed oil, organic virgin olive oil, candelilla wax, non-gmo vitamin E, and essential oil of lavender
Organic Vegan Lip Balm , $6 – Lip lube is my jam, yo! I’m always excited to feed my lip balm addiction with new tubes of moisturizing yummies. CCL’s lip balms are non-toxic, non-GMO and free of artificial ingredients & synthetic flavors! Flavors include Pawpermint (peppermint) and Felime (lime). You can also apply these you you pulse points for energizing aromatherapeautic benefits as well. I love the smooth “furmula” and delicious scents. These get two paws up!
Basically Sher is my idol. She’s the Crazy Cat Lady I aspire to be (seriously, I need to step up my crazy cat ladiness STAT).
